About Us

The club is currently active in the discipline of Motocross that includes Nippers.

Motocross and Nippers are run on separate tracks at Newhaven Park, via Mulyan Rd, Clergate and regularly conducts come & try days and licencing events.

The club has a history of holding Enduro that are run on leased privately owned land. Enduro is currently securing a new venue which is subject to Council Development Application approval but hopefully will see CMC running Enduro events later in the year but more likely early next year.

There is a Moto Park initiative to lease the former Orange Trotting Track from the Orange City Council (OCC). The land is adjacent to the Orange Kart Club (OKC) who also have a lease with OCC and the club is collaborating with the OKC to share some resources at the site. This would enable the club to conduct other events such as:

• Minikhana
• Flat Track
• Dirt Track
• Speedway
• Motocross (Junior and Senior)
• Stadium Supercross
• Trials
• Dirt and Speedway Karts

History

The Canobolas Motorcycle Club was originally known as the Orange Sports Motorcycle Club from the 1950’s when it had a track on Crown land on which the Wentworth Golf Club now occupies.

Since the establishment of the golf club (~1960’s), the club has negotiated arrangements with private landowners for Dirt Track, Speedway, Motocross and Enduro motorcycle disciplines.
